Hi can anyone help a brother out?  I am looking for high gloss black oxfords.  I am looking for minimalistic/simplistic classic black dress shoes, I think which would fall under the term "cap-toe" but not sure if thats an accurate descriptor for what I'm looking for.  I've looked through my old reliable dress clothes/shoes companies and no one carries what I am looking for, but I see shoes like these all the time---last thing I want to do is grab some guy on the subway, shake him around a bit, then ask him what brand his shoes are---wouldn't go well.

I got a PM on this --- I appreciate all the advice, this forum is great and friendly.  I think the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue, when well-polished, is very close to what I am looking for, except they have a break in the leather (I'm not a foot anatomy person so maybe this description is not entirely accurate but the break comes at the base of the where the toes start from the rest of the foot).

I'd really love to find dress shoes similar to the Park Avenues, but using a single piece of leather/material for most of the shoe---the lace-hole area is exempt from my one-piece rule.  In the meantime, the Park Avenues will serve my purposes for now.

Plain toe oxford would work as well. This one may be patent, I'm not sure, but you get the design idea.
