Stupid seller. I would have sanded the fuck out of those before flipping them.

But what are you gonna do about it? Half of the b&s is for profit....

Yeah, to obscure the $15 mark. They're scuffed up already. That or just ink over them.

Way too much work and entirely unnecessary. Hasn't anyone ever heard of 'acetone?'

Thanks to all for the kind messages, private and public, regarding my dad's recovery from his accident. He was pretty messed up in the accident so he won't be the same for a while.

A few also asked about the Edward Green Crocodile shoe project? The shoes are still with Edward Green and have been for at least 3 or 4 months? Dad managed to persuade EG to replace the entire rear quarter of the shoes to properly restore them to 'like-new" condition and it took a while to match the crocodile skins exactly and is taking even longer to make the repair. He also requested a few special items be done to the shoes so that is likely adding to the normal re-craft time, not that this is a normal re-craft by any means. He assures me the shoes will be perfect, if not better than original, when done so look for them later.

Also, I think my little brother completed the deal with our own Hughes regarding the Edward Green Watch Straps project my dad was undertaking? I think he sent two of the EG leather samples, one of which is dark oak, to Hughes and requested various sizes. If anyone is looking for something in particular you might want to drop me a note, quickly, and I will pass it on to my little brother to see if a particular size someone might want can be accommodated. I know my dad wanted a few of the watch straps for his own watches to match his own Edward Green shoes and I am not sure how many bands can be made from each swatch of leather. I saw a photo of what Hughes is doing for my dad and so can tell you these watch straps are going to be killer.

Again, thanks for the kind words about my dad. I really appreciate it.

^ that's great to hear, LSL. I once purchased a suit from your dad and he was a class act. The apple didnt fall from the tree.

Or maybe it's the Idaho connection? Lol

Spoo must be laughing all the way to the bank this week. PTO featured a bunch of his stuff. That's gotta equal a nice surge in bidding.
