I may have to help out with his auction stuff for a while, or better, help out my little brother that helps him out now.

Very sorry to hear this. May he recover quickly and live the rest of his days with twice the passion of those before the accident.

He meant it has three buttons down the front I think.

As I recall, all of the made in Italy stuff is half canvassed, I am not sure about the USA stuff though. There should be a thread talking about the various PRL suit makers if you search for it.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable. Is it worth the money?

I had a PRL made in USA, the only problem was it was too big for me (I think it was a 46, I wear a slim 44L or 42L) The construction was good, fabric was nice. No complaints here. If the measurements are right, I think it would be a fine investment.

At the same time, if you are used to Isaia, Caruso, or zegna, this is going to be different, and probably a step down.

You mean you have to have the jacket taken in a lot at the bottom? Just about everyone here on SF has their RTW stuff taken in. I guess it's usually assumed you buy so it fits your shoulders and chest, the rest can be altered. (to an extent, a 40 to 38 should be easy I would think)

Yeah, I know that almost every jacket needs tailoring, but I have a 11 inch drop and was wondering how this will cope with the single vent. I've had no problem with dual vents but thouht a single may be different

I would ask a tailor (maybe one of the tailors on the board here could help?)

That is a huge drop!

Wow, that tie I liked had one bid before the link was posted, now it has four plain.gif
