I'm in need of a winter overcoat, but I've never owned anything by Hickey, is that overcoat worth it after repairs?

Didn't realise that - the description states: "Highly luxurious Loro Piana 100% Cashmere Top Coat. This is a Loro Piana made coat, not a third party retailer"
