The original envelope was torn. I Then tried to get into it and my hands were covered in shoe polish. The tins were damaged and there was wax everywhere. Some won't close. Guess I'll write the guy and see what's up.

As a follow up if anyone's interested... He was apologetic and promised to send new product right away. He offered up the right solution without me having to ask. I can't ask for better service in a messed up situation.

I suspect he might have learnt a lesson or two about international packaging from this. Thankfully he had the customer service part down.

I have bought the Saphir creams from the guy but I notices he also sells theSaphir Medaille Pommadier Renovating Cream polish. Is this the same as the same as the Saphir Renovateur and if so, would you kop at $15 plus shipping? If not, where to kop the Renovateur at the best prices?

My Saphir Médaille D'or Pate de Luxe arrived yesterday, shipping took approx. 20 days from UK to Vietnam. I placed an order for two Blacks and one Neutral, all in 50ml tins by default. The black tins were fine, contents got messed up a bit but still there, while the neutral came in a dented 100ml tin, 3/4 full, and liquidized (no longer solid as the blacks), but still got the job done. Should I alert the seller and secretly hope for a replacement or should I just suck it up, which is not that bad?

Is it just me or Saphir Médaille D'or Pate de Luxe really does smell like pine - me likey - (Beauté du Cuir didn't)?
>>> Nevermind. Got the answer here.

Odd, that the chest sounds like it'd fit a 44, plus the sleeves are too long and can't be fixed (obviously) otherwise I might do it.

He said the jacket was altered... and why wouldn't you be able to make the sleeves shorter? Of course you can.

Very rare you see a dyed vicuna coat - I didn't think the Vicuna wool took colour very well.

It would almost fit me. I think it would fit Klobber for sure though.
