Are they worn through? Or are they water stains. I've never seen soles wear through so evenly over such a large area. Still, the uppers look pretty nice.

It looks to me like they had something rubber over the front of the foot in the middle. Kind of like the rubber thing you see on some cheap shoes that doesn't cover the whole front.

Like the MOP / Wood domino set, but it looks kinda sloppy workmanship for SAB...

What's the story Malford?

I've had this years. I picked it up from a guy who had a load of SAB stuff including this night tray:

Workmanship is a bit off - especially considering the materials used. Possibly a sample of some kind.

1/3 of the "Shell Cordovan Boot Power Pack" auction that ended prematurely is now available.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alden-Shell-Cordovan-Boots-10-5-Plaza-Last-Excellent-Condition-/180733233349?pt=US_Men_s_Shoes&hash=item2a148a48c5#ht_500wt_1156

Pretty sweet bag, condition looks to be fairly tip top assuming it is not dried out beyond repair.
