Why no love for these guys?

$160 seems like a good price for the fatte a mano Zegna shoes.

I'm tempted to pick them up myself for casual friday/airplane travel.

Probably a little but all that matters is you love them.

high IMO considering you can get new peals for around $50 more on sale + f&f

but if you like em don't sweat it or you'll drive yourself crazy.

Someone just got these for $19 shipped. Are they Tramezza? And even if they're Lavorazione Originale, is Salvatore Ferragamo that cheap or someone just got a good deal? I just have no clue about the ball park for Ferragamo shoes.

Nah, they are studio. For a beater pair to pick up, sure, but no great deal was lost here.

These seem to be leather sole with stitching. Studio is glued rubber sole only, right? Or they have studio in leather sole and stitching too?

The insole logo is consistent with Lavorazione Originale -- this was a good deal

I got a pair of Ferragamo Studio loafers at the Rack, if I recall correctly. Anyway, they were new when I got them and had leather soles. Ferragamo Studio can and do definitely come with leather soles. If the leather soles is your basis for believing they are higher end then that is simply not the case.

Alfred Sargent seemed to be the consensus. I have a pair and really like them.
