I like the look of the butterfly loafers when I see the pictures. I even have a pair, not Lobb, that I think are darned good looking for display. For some reason they just don't look right when I wear them. The low vamp with socks displayed in the center must be the reason that they strike me as so different. Has anyone ever seen a regular loafer like the Alden full strap with a butterfly style strap instead of the one piece?

Sorry double post..but the leather finishing on these is incredible.. I wish I could justify the need for one of these Cucinelli beauties. At 55% off, but bloody expensive. The seller has some Cucinelli shoes at about half price retail. (I remember having two Want Les Essentiels laptop bags unused)
