That's a monstroity. You dodged a bullet!

That seller purchased that tie from eBay at 18.39.  He realized he can't get anything for it, and is selling it above purchase price to break even.

Those ugly talbott seven folds can be had under 15$ usually.  And they usually won't sell for more than that unless they are recent, vibrant, or they sit for a few months.  Since the numbering on this specific tie is worn, I would expect the hardship in a decent sale.

I guess I was light headed from my recent sale of a used RT 7-fold

Franceschetti dark brown half brogue bluchers, size EU44 (US11), $239: http://www.yoox.com/us/44653847AH/item?dept=men#sts=sr_men80&cod10=44653847AH&sizeId=13
I don't know much about the brand, but they look pretty nice and considering Barney's usually sells 'em for $630 or so, it might be a good deal for someone.

To be honest, I can't recall ever seeing a Robert Talbott tie I didn't hate.

Actually +0.95

RT for [Insert independent men's store name here] can make some nice regimentals and other conservative styles, but most purely private label stuff is indeed awful.

New Foster & Sons by Edward Green punch cap toes. Antique Chestnut (I believe). Size 7/7.5F on the 88 Last. Price is around $400 plus shipping from UK. These are not marked as EG, so they may be flying under the radar a bit. A decent chance at getting a very nice deal.
