Well, you know I approve of these, MM. Not so keen on the Testoni's (they use cheaper leather & I have serious doubts as to whether their Norv stitch is real), but these are a great Country Style shoe. Santoni?

Testoni black label from the 90s. Going back 9 or 10 years ago, they were making some solid good quality shoes.

i had a pair of those very same Testoni BL (mine was more brown, but that may be a thing with the photos). agree with the quality of the construction, but yeah - they looked terrible. if you are blind or you like the styling for some reason, they are an amazing deal for what they go for, because of the quality and their rarity - if you can find them

They are a country shoe. For that purpose, they are great.

I strongly believe the norv and bentivegna shoes labeled Testoni are outsourced to a specific factory (different than where the rest A Testoni shoes are made). Somewhere along the way they switched factories and sacrificed quality.

I would bet they were rebranded Santoni from the same era. If I had a better pic, you could see that the heels match.

Yours are nicer thanks to the color but still not for me. But taste is very individual cheers.gif

If anyone is interested I can proxy some Allen Edmonds Norwich in brown size 10 E for $210 shipped. They were in store, so maybe have been tried on once, but a good looking single monk.

Kopped - thank you. If it is genuinely silk that's too good a deal to pass up.
