I've found this knit a couple times but either 2 sizes too small or too big @ghdvfddzgzdzg took a fit in one and verified its awesomeness

oh it's so good. i should wear it more.

Had...sadly. After several years of loving them, I was finally forced to accept that they were ~2 sizes too small. blame a life of stuffing my tootsies into soccer boots.

I'm actually finding a lot of the stuff brand new with tags. I wish I was going full Margiela back in 2010....all that cream

If I could find this version in cream, it would be one of my most grail of grails

Could you PM me your sources, those sweaters could potentially have a home in my closet smile.gif

The ones I have already are definitely built really tough and waterproof. They dont have any stretch, at least the ones that I currently have.

Whats the inseam like on the large? the size chart claims 118 cm outseam, though that seems too long.

Funny, I've been thinking lately about you and your Margiela fixation as I've been weeding out my wardrobe. I can see the appeal of staying in one lane. I don't think I will ever be so singularly focused but I do really like the Margiela aesthetic/conceptual approach. Even though I can't stand Galliano and a lot of the newer runway stuff is too weird for me. I've never got rid of any of the Margiela I've bought, unlike other designer stuff which has come and gone more easily. The stuff I have seems more "permanent" and is easy for me to wear.

p.s. I also love white/cream, but it doesn't always fit in my grungy, foggy city.

Oh yeah man the new and upcoming seasons have very little that I am interested in. I hope they take a more wearable direction in future seasons. I always say that I love Margiela because it is completely wearable with a dash of really cool details you would never think of

I think the main thing about buying from one label is the ease of shopping...I have places bookmarked and I check them out from time to time..that simple. Sizing for instance is something I never worry about. I am also a big believer that a brand goes best with pieces from that brand. There are posters here who do an awesome job mixing and matching, yet when I see a Margiela piece for instance I start thinking "man if they would of just added some white jeans or a tan top it that would be Margiela as fuck. I guess my mind has been conditioned to think one way when it comes to my wears haha

The SS 08.09, def 10, and 11 have always been the seasons that I plagarize the most from whether it comes to color, fit, or whatever so I thought since the next couple of seasons dont have my interest I'll put some energy into searching for my favorite seasons and maybe some rare pieces from 1999-2005 if I can find them in a semi-new state

@Jbravo Thoughts on that Acne bomber? If received!

Any fellow Margiela enthusiasts out there these new painted jeans are hard as fuck on the outside, but the inside is buttery soft and stretches like crazy....it is actually very comfortable

A few weeks back on a whim I picked up a Squareguard, basically a small insert you put in your breast pocket that keeps your pocket square in place. A guy I work with always had perfect-looking squares (while mine tended to sink down into the pocket) and had one of these. It's really pretty neat; I've since gotten like four more to give this Christmas as stocking stuffers. It's one of those odd little sartorial things I never knew I needed or wanted until I had one.

I also picked up on sale a Corneliani unstructured hemp/cotton jacket from this past spring collection. Love it; the fit is great, it's very comfortable, and quality is excellent. I'd love to find this one on sale in every color they made.

@ihrm those are A1923 oile horse culatta boots, anthracite color/treatment.

@Lollie the bomber has a relatively relaxed fit (although it fits tts) and the fabric is quite substantial. it's somewhat shiny so might not be everyone's cup of tea. overall, if styled the right way, it's an awesome bomber.
