I decided to take the year off fashion until I figured out my place in capitalism. But that's not happening anytime soon so I adjusted it to a ~$100 limit. And that means Yooxing it up. A couple cheapo hits lately:

Reveres 1949

Pretty cool blazer for US $48. All Prices are 90% higher for Canadians but even then it's still cheap. Has a cool flecked pattern in the fabric. Terrible, terrible buttons. I took off the stupid metal button that frayed the button hole after two uses and replaced it with the one below it but it didn't come with a spare so it's a one button blazer right now.

Obvious Basic

Never heard of the brand. Pretty terrible fit; slim in the arms and baggy in the waist but cool print and it's just for wearing around the apartment.

N.D.C. Made by Hand

Couldn't resist at US $65. I already use a pair of boots by these guys as my motorcycle boots and they've lasted a year and a half with no issues at all. Fantastic build quality. These ones look better than the photo, luckily. Goodyear welted through the lug sole, which I appreciate.

Yoox roulette is a fun time, I say. Their photos are so bad that everything is a least sort of a gamble but I've gotten tons of cool stuff from brands I never would have heard of otherwise. I've gotten tons of crap, too. But I'm getting better at returning stuff these days.

Life is good, folks.

after a meandre around soho spotted the apc ov stuff, loved the fabric of these shorts, need more gym/running shorts

that gave me the impetus to pay the mr porter delivery, so been craving this, again the fabric coarsnes of a brushed oxford appealed

i tried on their brushed flannel shirt in liberties and might fall back onto that one if this does not appeal

and seeing as i've paid for delivery now i have taken a punt on

I expect to return this one, I'm 43, a hoody...hmmmm, but again the patina on the fabric called out to me

but have already decided on the replacement (non hoody) if I return it, arrives today whoop whoop

Shorts look great, I feel you should keep this hoody too.

Keep it or not, but don't return it because of your age. It's a hoody, not skinny jeans.

If anyone bought these off Yoox, hit me up if you change your mind.

Yeah, they're pretty sick. Faux shearling unfortunately, but that's alright. I just randomly googled for them one day and was so stoked to see that they actually exist. Thankfully we got a nice lil community here that will help us poor Canadians cop jawnz!

Found a cool local designer here in Toronto, the brand is called Noble Sole. They're made in Portugal and I'm pretty sure it's the same guys who do CP, W+H, National Standard, etc... what's the name of that factory again? Very solid build quality and well worth that $200-300 price point. I found they fit almost the same as my W+H ones.

I got these lows in black and navy and the chukkas in brown. Were marked down for a steal at $100
