I got a pretty decent deal (50$) for NWOT Levi 501's CT White Oak Cone selvedge denim. Will post pics when it arrives.

Normally post on the classic side but did just pick these up from the Neiman Marcus sale.

first venture into the designer sneaker game other than a pair of butteros and a Lobb plimsole.

These are definitely nicer and love the contrast sole

Could have gambled on another price drop somewhere, but wanted this too badly to risk it.

^I tried that on at Totokaelo, it's really cool. It fit kinda slim though, I tried on a 50 and it fit pretty perfectly (normally a 48)

Really? Damn, now you have me worried. NMWA measurements are pretty standard for a 48 (18.5" shoulders, 46" chest)

The Totokaelo model is a 50 and he's wearing a 48. https://man.totokaelo.com/robert-geller/metal-clasp-bomber/black/H1E53D/jrr5lm-1048

Granted, the sleeves look a little short but that won't be a problem for me.

I think you'll probably be fine with a 48. Size difference wasn't huge, the sleeve shortness was a large part of why the 50 looked better on me, and I have long arms for my height
post #51819 of 52772
Ok cool, thanks. Sleeves are only 1/4" longer on a 50 so if that was good for you then a 48 should be good for me as my arms are relatively short. I'm a 46 in the Emil bomber so I never even considered sizing up to a 50.

I'm looking for something to wear over just a tee on breezy spring days anyway so hopefully that will work in my favor.

Thanks, I normally don't pick up final sale stuff but I didn't want to risk this being gone so had to pull the trigger.

So. Those jeans I purchased? I pulled the trigger doing that but looks like I didn't do enough decent research to find out that THOSE jeans and the style I had purchased for them was ACTUALLY lower than what I paid for. Looks like I pulled the trigger on myself. But this is another lesson learned then, am I right? The jeans are not my kind of fit, and I realize i pretty much had impulsively purchased something. Unfortunate, but still a good lesson.
Some advice. Make sure you measure your favorite fitting jeans rise. As I wore these jeans, I looked like one of those teens who wears everything at a 12" rise, jogger-style.

Btw, fyi its Harrison style. & I need to really research my fit more, I've screwed up twice buying pants and shirts that don't even accentuate me in the slightest.

Honestly, it seems so difficult to find your fit, when new factors arise once you make a purchase on an item. It's kind of hit me hard, it makes me feel like I should just stick to skinny jeans and call it a day.
