Recent purchases - Part II - Page 3451

Dude came out of House of Billiam. Will be tough to take any Cloth Surgeon stuff seriously...

I had to google House of Billiam, so I don't really know the backstory to what the issue with that is. It looks pretty similar to Luxire and Skookum and those guys, but only Varsities.
I straight up googled "cropped gabardine trousers" and came across those, which look about right for what I'm after.

Don't think I posted the boots either, but here's what I messed around with on that end (missing is another brown pair similar to the black ones):

Black boots held up in 3 days straight of rain while camping and my feet remained dry the entire time.

Serious request to put together an order for these beautiful boots. I feel like others on here would order. Hook it up

Switch the zipper from black to silver, maybe drop the pull-tabs and I'd be in.

Thoughts on your Tender purchases? Been eyeing some pieces for a while.

Have those Heschungs, love 'em.

They were priced really well but I'd guess shipping them from China wouldn't be the cheapest thing in the world. If people are really serious I guess I could look into how much shipping across the pond would cost. He usually takes a couple weeks to make each pair of boots/shoes.

Yeah! I pulled the trigger after seeing your fit (and the generous nmwa discount...)

Tender is one cool company, the clothes are very well put together and have little details everywhere especially in the fabrics (the way the fabrics are woven and dyed). For example the light blue is a woad dyed boxcloth with texture similar to cheesecloth, while the darker one is a herringbone loomed from cotton warp and wool weft that's been overdyed with ochre - these specific jackets are both lined with cotton and are surprisingly light and not overwhelmingly warm. They've got some character straight away with a rumpled feel, so falling into the revival/EG aesthetic which I think you'd enjoy. Each piece also comes with a little note from the owner, fun touch. The fit is def interesting, the body is boxy but the sleeves are tapered and kinda tight in the pit, reminding me of tailored pieces, but still very comfortable.

I got mine from these guys: https://standardandstrange.com/collections/tender-co

You might find a size that works for you on sale, just make sure to check the measurements.

Btw CD, not sure if I asked you already but have you checked out Evan Kinori's stuff? I feel like he'd be right up your alley, and the quality is pretty incredible

Yea man that would be great if you could, I would buy at least 2 pairs. Do you know if he can make them in size US13?

Anyone else that wants to order chime in...
