I'm sure it won't come off that way. It's just a basic layering piece. I was thinking of wearing it with my EG vest and andover jacket, sort of how the UM model is wearing it. Just concerned about the rounded hem.

Even more pics and close-ups (Click to show)

The fabric is black/black with green tones, not black/red like it looks in the pics and the pattern isn't quite as pronounced, but seriously such a cool fabric, from some angles the pattern is barely visible and then you turn it slightly and you're like DAAAMN.

Slightly loose in the body and sleeves but should get plenty of wear once I've had that tailored, over all very happy :)

@kindofyoung that fabric looks way cooler in your pictures.  nice pickup.

pardon the sweet neck tattoo.  recently arrived stuff:

Geller tencel pajama shirt.  This thing is awesome.

rag & bone cotton/linen

pantanetti - not totally sold on these, but wanted to go for something kind of beat up and slouchy.  They're a bit more structured in the toe than I'd like, but I'm hoping some wear will fix that.  Will probably pair w/ my last waywt and get rl rl tonal.

Incoming (Click to show)

N° 4 Four - anyone have any experience with this brand?

Margiela

Uniforms for the Dedicated

Have worn them almost every day since and they're stupid comfortable. So far they've kept me warm while walking dogs in the snow at 15F, stayed comfortable and breathable on 10 hr plane rides to and from Paris, and look rad too. Oh, I also went for an unplanned run in them once. They're kind of like soft-core techwear, looks-wise - they can blend in with a lot of stuff, which makes them very useful for me. Can't recommend them enough.

The make quality is also surprisingly high.  I first got a pair of Outlier pants a few years ago (climbers), and sent them back because the stitching was noit really that great and they did not have features (like overlocked seams, that you would have expected from clothing with a lot of stretch in them (and thus, while awesome, makes the seams more likely to break because the seam thread does not have the same stretch and is therefore not going to be supported by the material around it.

These ones though, in addition to all the good things that @Synthese said, are a marked improvement.  Uniform, tight, stitching.  All the right stitching types in the right areas.  And the material is tightly woven and water and wind resistant and merino backed, which makes them really warm even to very cold temperatires, and really useful for a lot of different uses,  I like to wear mine with my Hender Scheme Runners (MIP-08) and really wish that I'd brought those to Paris to wear them with,
