When I wear my other sunglasses it feels like I'm wearing a brick on my face compared to my Mykitas

Any users who keep doing this "I just purchased" "Here it is now in the flesh" recent purchases should be temporarily banned for stupidity. Nobody cares enough here to see your recent purchases multiple times over.

Did you know that he's called Orthros in some games? I'm not sure whether that has anything to do with the Greek Orthodox church.

Anyway, I thought this Cabourn tunic jacket was lost to the sands of time in the dune of things I wish I'd kopped.

Until today.

I think the name is from Orthrus, though I don't know why he went from being a two headed dog to an octopus

edit: the answer from the ffwikia:
Orthros, also spelled Orthrus and Orthos, is a creature from Greek mythology, a two-headed dog that is brother to Cerberus. It was slain as part of the twelve labors of Hercules.

The Orthros of Final Fantasy has no connection with the mythical Orthros, save for their link to Typhon, which in the Greek myth was the father of Orthros and Cerberus. The likely reason Orthros is an octopus in the game is given in the book for Final Fantasy Origins: Final Fantasy VI. An octopus was the main character in the first game Square ever made, in addition to the fact that in the production of Final Fantasy VI, a programmer told Amano and Sakaguchi that the octopus they were designing reminded him of a purple octopus toy he had as a child named Orthros.[citation needed] The Orthrus spelling is also the name of a genus of jumping spider, another eight-limbed creature.

Orthrus is also a (shitty) persona, never got it cuz I never bothered with the hanged man links.
