Sorry, but you're being a tool by trying to give someone **** over the internet for their lifestyle choices. If you think it's stupid that's one thing, but you're projecting a weird kind of envy/scorn thing. Can't we just appreciate the coat, the amount of time/effort he spent obtaining said piece, and the fact that it means enough to him to put himself in whatever detrimental position he's in that you don't really understand?

There is nothing cooler than lusting after a specific item of clothing forever, finally finding it and having just enough cash to pull it off. Scott's right, these situations are why god invented ramen to begin with. Plus, forget eating, you can buy a coupla 40s and just survive off of air for a few days. The skinnier you are the better it'll fit! Dope ass jacket man.
