I always thought the original "designer" jeans were Calvin Klein or Jordache or Guess in the late 70's / early 80's, no?
Surely it was long before Diesel was around

+1 Asked this question in the "Ask a question/Get an answer thread"

The canvas is pretty nice, they're super comfortable right out the box. Achilles take me months to wear in. The sizing is better on them too... wider and shorter. I find with achilles i overcompensate for the narrow-ness by getting a size up, which in turn gives me heel slippage.

Oh, recent purchases right!

CP duck boots are cool. They definitely look really good, I mean if you like the way duck boots look. Would be very underwhelming for $570 so I can see why they weren't flying off the shelves. For $150 out the door I'm pretty pleased. They're surprisingly lightweight but the sole gives them limited function, I guess they'll be good for rainy days and that's about it. Unless of course you want to walk around in duck boot looking things on nice days.

When I was there picking them up a guy walked in asking specifically if they had any of the CP duck boots, and they said no they all sold out, which is crazy considering they had a full size run when I got the email from them this afternoon and called to reserve them / order them on the phone for pickup.

Of course he's busy in Paris so it won't be sent to me for some time, I don't really care about immediate gratification though. He will be having some nice surprises this spring. Watch this space for more news !

He didn't have anyone photograph the fw12 collection at his showroom?
I was wondering why none of the usual sources have released any pictures from the zamb and InAisce events...

YES! I have been wanting that boots since it came out. i think it would be perfect for the winter/rain. It is the best "ugly" duck boots. TTS?

Yea, saw them in Frances May, very nice styling and they're adequately sleek. Color is good too. One of my favorite CP's this season

I would say they are TTS, but I don't know how they compare to other CPs as I've never tried any of their other shoes on

Would be terrible for snow so keep that in mind

They appear to be on the same sole as the combat boots from this season, and those fit my normal CP size (at least, one down was a little too small, and one up was definitely too big).

Speaking of which, if anyone stumbles across a good deal on the combat boots in a 44 in the sienna colorway, I still kinda wanna pick up a pair. :hide:
