Recent purchases - Part II - Page 3025

The more I deal with poor customer service and the hassles of online shopping, the more I appreciate the businesses that put the effort in to make it easier for me to shop, so part of me wants to stand up for them when it's taken advantage of. I don't think you're a horrible person or anything, but Forward's service is obviously not intended for someone to try an item and send it back so that they'll save the return shipping from another store. You're basically just using Forward to pay your return shipping. If it costs a little more at Forward, then just pay it. The reason it costs more might be because they offer great service like free shipping and returns. If you find SS sizing inconsistent, then Forward has offered you a great solution to that.

I can see how wearing that over a collared shirt would fix the baconing issue. I might rethink that item now.

Next WAYWT challenge is going to be breakfast themed, and you're really going to regret sending back the sweater

@nicelynice I would def write Peir about it. Everything you order from her comes with a handwritten note. Im sure she could offer some advice or fix it herself.

How would that work, though? Like, Hey, I bought a used coat on the second-hand market, could you stop and give me some free advice?

Feels a little weird.

exactly like that. But I would phrase it more "the coat I wanted sold out before I could buy it at retail, so I unfortunately had to buy it on the second hand market". And obviously offer to pay if she helps out.

Nicely buys clothing at retail all the time, its not like hes a scam artist.

Haha, yeah, I know, I wasn't saying that. Just seems like you would be putting the person or company in a weird position is all.

Honesty is still the best policy.

Just be sincere and polite about it. Not so difficult

i might be wrong but i don't see what she could do, even if she had the fabric and was inclined to help. sew on a patch? that would look terrible. she's a designer/cutter, it's a job for a specialist reweaver.

I'm gonna try and handle it locally mainly because shipping internationally two ways would be a pain for such a heavy coat. It's going to be rewoven at a factory that produces fabrics for Visvim of all places.

Seller isn't responding, I could call him up and chew him out but at this point I'd rather just leave him bad feedback and move on

Last fall/winter collection (13-14), one of my favorite jackets they've done, very comfy - like a cardigan

I didn't see that you mentioned it previously, what size is that Peir Wu nicelynice? Looks like it fits you perfectly.

AM Eyewear Sunglasses. I'm no expert on glasses but they seem decently made:

Material is absurd.

@nicelynice Maybe try asking Peir if she has a swatch of that fabric? Might make the reweaving cheaper, faster, better.
