I can tell by the fit that the Visvim would be too short on me... I think the buckle is the same piece that JW used on the boiled wool rider's and the leather Vanson

time to switch gears, enough about colors. gdl203, bows, this is your chance ! :D
not sure on this piece, the construction is great, fabric goes without saying, wool is incredibly soft and contrasts well with the rest. peekaboo lining isn't overwhelming but adds a nice touch. raw seems on back and sleeves aren't exaggerated but noticeable if you keep an eye out for such deviance. would be interested in some feedback

Detail pics look interesting, might be a bit long maybe? I was going to buy something like it about a month ago--the "Ottoman Jacket" that had nothing to do with Ottomans as I was informed later by...well you can probably guess who.

I sized down so as to avoid swimming in it but it is more of a short coat, you see. I would ideally wear with fuller pants but did not have on hand for time being. the fabric and texture contrast, the colour, the raw seams, looks slightly post apocalyptic with a touch of rebellion from the 90's :p

I hear you. Raw seams good, agree. It would probably look solid with drapy pants.

Are you in the desert? I thought you lived in Canada. Confused by cactus.

It would seem to be the case that, roughly every 4000 years, succulents spring to life in the polar deserts -- which would explain your confusion as this has never occured in your lifetime before. We are studying seed cryomigrations.

Swooped these at the Maxfield's sale today.
Broke my new years resolution.
