They're great - quality is on par with my others. I like how furry the leather is. Looking forward to seeing how they integrate in with my wardrobe. My mom got them for me! :happy:

Worth noting that I think they feel about ~1-2cm narrower than my other mmm gats (hardly noticeable though)

Clothing related, I got a J crew duffle bag for study abroad (been lugging a bright red Jeep bag since I was eight), a Saddleback leather wallet, and a classy ass wooden handled umbrella!

The gf and I are exchanging presents later tho, she's given me the impression that she spoiled me :embar:

mina: bryston bcd-1 cd player (best gift ever ... actually got ~ two weeks ago).

parents: money + usual gift cards.

sister: gift cards.

brother: money.

other/friends/co-workers: year-end bonus, boxed fruit and crackers and **** like that, jw blue label, several bottles of good merlot (for mina), misc. candy & other trinkets we wont keep around long.

we are an easy family to buy for.

interesting. it is replacing my mark levinson no.390, which up until i heard the bcd-1 i havent heard anything under 10k that sounds better. you may not have heard the bcd-1 in the right system ... it is one of the best cd player i have heard and i have listened to many.

yup. i still buy records (180 + gram)!

that ipod **** sounds like garbage. they are making progress with programs like pure music and what not but yeah, i still love playing cds and records and it sounds much better then anything i have heard.

there are some decent usb high-end dacs ... like the ayre qb-9 that you can use that make a world of difference with low-rez music or music from your pc but my cd playback equipment still sounds better.

got a CDG wallet from my wife and I bought myself the Lego Fallingwater.

I got her a Lim dress, a Natalia Brilli Nolex, and a Trussardi camo tote for her to carry to work. Got my dog a few bags of chewy snacks. We went overboard with the gifts last year so not having to spend so much was a relief.

Was my birthday today too, and I think my poor old grandmother sent me some money, so I am gonna buy myself a watch :devil:

After that I am gonna cut my hair off and wear MC clothes.
