ohh shit i didnt even see that ish guy. whats the purpose in your question anyways? all i meant is that if you're not worried about the cost of the vehicle and just want top of the line everything, you might as well go all out and get a STI, but when moneys a factor, i would honestly just go for a WRX and mod it and save a good chunk of change. either way though i would never buy any type of "base" vehicle. i gotta have leather, NAV and some type of luxury, even in a car like a WRX.

anyways we're talking about performance cars and einstine mentions a r32, obviously i'm going to assume he was referring to a skyline.

thanks for proving my point guy

i'm the biggest car guy on the forum and i knew he was talking about a vw, no idea why you'd think it was a first gen skyline that came out eons ago based on the poster

agree with the nav, it's a must have but i always forego a sunroof given the option

like that shawl post up a fit pic when you get a chance fycus

heh, i agree. my insurance company considers it a sports car.. so my premiums are based off of that which kind of sucks.

I remember seeing a lot of Infiniti and Lexus cars in Omaha, which thinking back on it makes a lot of sense because that city is like the epitome of middling middle class.

I drive a 97 infinity, feels good. I put 3k miles on it in the last 18 months.

It just occurred to me that I had a nicer car in high school than I do now, alfa romeo spider veloce. Oh well

I bought an '89 Toyota Cressida for $500.00 when I was 16, drove it til I was 23, sold it for parts and got $300.00 then moved to NYC where no car is necessary.

That is the extent of my car knowledge hth.

The other thing about an STi is... if you're not going to race it why spend $40k+ on a Subaru Impreza? It's a souped up economy car designed for racing. If I wanted to spend that kind of cash for a road car I'd probably be driving a BMW.

And Jet, not sure about you being a car guy, you are more of a complete douchebag that seemingly knows nothing about cars. Reminds me of the old Mark Twain quote "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."
