STI's drive like shit, they feel like im flying around in a plastic wagon on a rough gravel road. Thats the way my first 08 felt and my ex's friends 2012 is the same, I got rid of it and bought an R32 and now that sits in my garage, because I simply got over fast cars and got a 06 civic for free and drive that because I get 40-43 to the gallon.

Actually they had yours but it was a bit big on me. I'll let you know if I part with it.

Never mind it was a little different. Raw edges and stuff.

How can you get over something you never had?

Sorry to interrupt the car bitching and moaning but

The only way I can think why a wrx would accelerate faster is that it doesn't get any kickback from turbo to spool and also doesn't have that force of the car it generates to stop faster. But honestly if you feel like you need an all wheel drive car and think the extra power is really just a luxury you don't need than its really just apples and oranges.

Last post about cars. Sorry.

The earlier cars were smaller and made better rally cars, for sure. The newer ones are more like a GT car and more comfortable on the highway, I'd pick them over the older cars for racing on pavement, while the earlier cars are better for dirt and probably autocross on pavement as well.

Stops faster means the distance required to stop from a certain speed is less. The WRX accelerates and stops faster than the STi because it is a little bit lighter. They both have almost exactly the same motor. The $5k Brembo brakes DO NOT make the STi stop better or faster, they are simply designed to work under extreme race conditions a road car will never see. The stock brakes on a WRX will not hold up to racing use for the most part.

Basically, if you buy an STi and have no intention of racing it, you are poseur and have just spent an extra $12k+ on the little pink STi badge. You are also a complete idiot with more money than sense.

Roland Juno-Di synthesizer

Yang Li sure doesn't fuck around when it comes to lapels, leather or wool

Yang Li: And what did you like about the collection?
Yasmina Dexter: Loved it straight away. I wanted to wear it; it sat in my core immediately. Fantastic fabrics, shapes and the thickest metal zips on the market.

re: wrx, i'd never buy a base one if sti is available

i haven't handled greg's coats, but ive handled two LBM blazers - one in cotton and one in a wool/silk/linen blend - and I think both barenas I have are nicer fabric wise. the cut is pretty different though. barena is much less formal. if you google image search barena you see a lot of #menswear tools wearing them with pocket squares and i think it looks awful.
