Hello. My name is zissou, and I have a knitwear problem.

Decided to try out a Christopher Raeburn bomber.  Have not worn a non-hooded bomber for years, but I like Raeburn's stuff, and really like the little militaria details on this pieces.  At $212 from Yoox, you really can't lose.  Good experiment.

Yeah, it's one of those "self sealing" plastic zippers that you find on activewear, right?  I'm not that concerned about that.  I have a guy who can easily switch it out for something heavy duty if need be,  How is everything else on it?

Nice. Did you end up going with the Taupe color Casentino then? That's the one I have had my eye on from jump. Would love to hear your take on it when you get it.

Haha. I am also in your support group, friend. I picked up a natural 3A lumber from Inventory that arrived last week, it's pretty sweet.

@la guy
Yeah the zipper was like something you find on the back of a woman's dress.

Overall jacket was not bad, it just felt too plain and I decided to return it. It's definitely a yoox roulette item, if you can make it work and like it then more power to you.

Hope it works out.

Casentino is pretty awesome.  I first saw it on the "old man" style coats at Liverano&Liverano.  The one that Greg carries is a little different.  I've seen it styled by them, and it's generally worn over a light knit or just a shirt, sort of in lieue of a sportsjacket, instead of over.  I've seen it worre tight and cinched, which looks really good on the tall Italian model types.  Very #menswear, but not on a bad, overadorned way.

i don't understand the yoox roulette. Has anybody found anything they really, really like doing that? if it were me I would just wait and buy something I know that I'll like.
