4. I don't think side-zips would really get much wear since they are something inbetween SW&D and "dressy" imo

5. So I figured I'd just take them further into SW&D-territory, so I'll now have three distinctly different pairs of shoes instead of "two and a half"

Maybe seems like a lot of thinking for just a pair of boots, but I think that's just what happens when you have a really limited budget thumbs-up.gif

they did a bad job though - the sole is too small. you need a chunky 360 welt for wedge soles to look good.

yeah they don't look great but if they needed a resole anyway, whatever. they're like a $70 pair of boots, right? wear them to parties and shit.

If you look at most creepers you'll see the sole is much chunkier than the shoe itself, whereas here the creeper sole just continues the silhouette of the shoe

I liked it before the detail shot, but this, exactly this. Have them redo it, it looks like they used a sole for 2-3 sizes smaller

What size Siki shirt did you get art? Was debating picking that one up as well

they look like hooves. You essentially have a less extreme version of these:

Yeah they might be too big but with the waist straps, figured it was worth a shot.

Went with a 1. Tried a 2 as well and it was wearable but slightly big.

Valid points, mostly at the heel I feel it would have benefited from a bit more length on the sole, will keep it mind when there's time for a new resoling.

Still pretty happy with them though :)

as teger noted, though I don't know if they can do a bigger sole due to the construction of the boot.

wow you guys really dislike that sole

I'll drop by the cobbler tomorrow and ask if it'd even be doable to get a bigger sole, but unless he does it for free I'll probably just live with it until there's time to resole again

KoY are you a 42 or 43? Could probably just get these at a deep discount if you are patient since they are all over the place. Could still be a bit too high for you but I'd try to model yours after these

Artsy, those pants have become my favorite pair. The waist straps don't really do much, but they run a little small so hopefully they work out for you.

Speaking of, that guy who sold me the Cloak peacoat for 23$ cancelled the transaction because "contractors got paint on it."

Unsurprising.

What's protocol here? I accepted the refund, but what should I do if (when, probably) he relists the same thing?

Haha I hate when that happens Synth, I've had someone go as far as claiming to have shipped after I said I was okay with the supposed damage and then happily refunding me when it never arrived

synth if you ever decide to sell that Ann coat, you know who to call
