I wish I had my friends insurance. 80% up to 1k from each parent.

He can buy 1600 frames for something like 400.

A few things (2 dress shirts, a wool henley) from the Yoox final sale.

A RRL charcoal cotton wool henley
A Robert Geller dip dyed hoodie (came today, great piece)
A pair of Pierre Hardy suede desert boots (keep on looking at, but haven't worn yet.)

The desert boots are interesting. The slim, elongated silhouette makes it so that they will look good with jeans with a severe taper and some stacking, pants with essentially no break, or "moderate" denim, i.e. jeans with very little stacking, and a straight, slightly tapered, cut, and not raw, but broken in so that they fall easily over the shoe. I don't really have any of these in the rotation right now, so they've been on the backburner. They are nice though. I like how spare he is with the details, paring things down so that there is no superfluous stitching at all.

Yea, nice pickup on the geller hoodie and the pierre hardys. I was handling the pierre hardys the other day and really liked them. The blue shoes from last spring they did with kitsune are nice too. Stel's has the dip dye hoodie and while i was unsure at first, it's definitely nice and up your alley. The fading is really subtle and cool. The summer parka is kinda neat too but almost $700 for something like that is stretching it a bit in my imagination.

What i like a lot for a spring early fall jacket is this one nicholas k jacket i tried on last week. Can't find any picture of it online or really any nicholas k ss10 stuff but the jacket looks and fits amazing. Great blue/green color kinda like that geller parka. The only thing i'd change is the tassles but those can easily be cut

I got that Robert Geller charcoal dip dyed hoodie like a month or two ago, it is really fantastic. Geller also finally fixed his zippers for this season so they aren't all fucked up like they used to be. Also got the summer parka (againfrom Stel's) which is really nice, the fabric is very lightweight. A lot of people thought the ss10 runway show was a bit overdone but the individual pieces, especially the outerwear, are really spectacular.
