When little kids dreamt of what the "perfect" Pokémon game would be, they were dreaming of what X/Y actually is. Full 3D game, customize your trainer with clothes, hairstyles, etc., pet and play with your Pokémon on the touch screen and train them in extracurricular mini-games. And of course, they are appealing to the older fans by bringing back a lot of the older Pokémon and giving Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle new "Mega Evolutions." It's the perfect storm of innovation and nostalgia.
I don't want to turn RP into a nerdfest, but maybe SW&D Pokémon thread is worthwhile lol
