I work at google and I would say a majority of people use apple laptops (well over 50%), engineers included. This is over windows or chrome capable machines. A majority of them use iPhones as well even though google gives out androids. I don't see any legitimacy in the argument that if you use apple products you're not tech savvy. There are some distinct advantages that iOS provides (particularly in security) which makes it sometimes preferred. Not always about hardware power or performance etc
It doesn't help that Goobuntu is a steaming pile on mobile...I've also noticed progressively fewer people staying on iOS when they upgrade. Android has finally matured into a fairly stable, usable, and well rounded OS with the last few rounds of updates; much like MS, Google has never been a company to do a fantastic v1 product.
Most of those examples are pretty weak and you could make a much bigger article about features Android copied from iOS – it was, after all, shifted from a Blackberry-style OS to a touchscreen slab OS due to insights gleamed by Eric Schmidt's privileged position on Apple's board of directors.
That said, this is really not the place to be having this discussion, period.
Who in turn copied from Palm. The tech industry makes fashion look downright shy when it comes to taking ideas from competitors. Getting up in arms or pointing figures is a waste of time
