bought a pair of NDG tech chino shorts on a whim on eBay. Thought they'd probs suck IRL but they actually fit and look pretty great. Not a bad $25 spent

Uni-ball Signo UM-151 0.28, I have fallen in love. Can't imagine ever switching. Buy a bunch eBay and just lay them everywhere, desk, room, car. lol. I can't fucking write with pencils man.

Uni Signo, Mitsubishi Jetstream, Pilot Hi-tec. Choose your side.

I recommend Zebra Sarasa 0.7s. not particularly expensive and they write smoothly.

sakura pigma microns are pretty decent as well and pretty easy to find.

Lamy Safari or Waterman Phileas. Once you start writing with fountain pens there's no going back.

My boss bought me a Montblanc mechanical pencil for Christmas and I have no idea what to do with it. I thought people stopped writing in pencil once they finished middle school.

Am I the only one that doesn't write, ever?  I take notes on my phone.

Pencil is still fairly used in engineering (CS and EE for sure).

I agree with you on FP's though, I've got an MB149, Pelikan 400 Flex-nib (50's), and TWSBI VAC700.  They're all wonderful pens.

What do you guys think of this shirt? Had a Ralph Lauren gift certificate and kind of rushed into buying it. Tempted to send it back and wait for something in the new season.

Thoughts?

Engineering makes sense, my perspective is more from just a daily writing standpoint (which I do a lot of at work).

How do Montblanc fountain pens write? I've handled a couple and they seem nice, but reviews seem to make them sound like the pen equivalent of Louis Vuitton (big on brand recognition/display of wealth, light on quality).

I like those TWSBI pens, but I've got three FPs already and don't really need more.

I like bics. When you lose them nothing changes.
