Pretty much I plan to just buy Margiela exclusively for the foreseeable future

I guess I might have romanticized Margiela but while I hear -really just from this site- that quality is down and what not, I still love their ideas and still buy many things at retail. It is just me as I always say. I pretty much have a list of all retailers and check those only for Margiela. Shopping experience is so much better when you only buy from one brand in my opinion. The only other brand I buy like Margiela is Orlebar Brown .....until Margiela makes some swim trunks biggrin.gif

I feel the exact way you do with Margiela with Lad Musician.
Although I had my fixation with Ervell, and still do to a certain extent; I just enjoy the general fit of Lad on me.
Buying from one brand has many pluses, and it's what I tend to do or at least am trying to do now.

...from the ssense sale.  Pretty stoked until I realized this was the grey one and not the brown one that was pretty much sold out.

...full size run at 50% off...so I'm thinking...wtf is wrong w/ this piece?  must be something... guess we'll see when it gets here.

Meh, doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. If it was black they probably would have sold out already. I think that color is great
Personally I'm turned off by all the acrylic, but Fok liked the 100% polyester ones enough to buy two so it can't be that bad
I also think Geller's knits sell slower than the rest of his stuff in general, that whole "people rather just buys jeans and button downs" thing
(I just bought two tees from that sale shog[1].gif)

oooo, that blazer looks really nice.  I should go TTS for Geller blazers right, since they tend to be a little oversized?  Are ssense's product measurements accurate?

^ fwiw, I sized down 1 on that one.  Depends on the look you want I guess, but the measurements seemed a little oversized, but it's intended to be relaxed/slouchy.

I've been eyeing that Richard as well, though the FSR makes me wonder if I can wait til it drops again. devil.gif

Let us know your thoughts when you get it?

Awesome, thanks.  Pulled the trigger on a 48 so hopefully that will work out.

How did you size the RO? Are they tagged in US or EU sizes? I am looking at a pair of 48/50 ... may I get the waist measurement of yours?

Thanks for the tip on that Geller jacket; I kopped the last 46. Hopefully it fits the same as the brown one Maas & Stacks had. I actually think I might like this color more.

I'd that doesn't work for you tcwalter, hit me up. I may want to give it a try.

They're Tagged XL.. The waist is about 18.5".. I normally wear size 33 and these fit maybe a hair big but they are proper trousers that can be easily altered. I tried a L but it was too tight all around.. The XL was a little baggy but fitted if that makes any sense. If you're interested i'm selling them for $250 all inclusive.. Brand new with tags bought on saturday. They were marked down to $299 from $610.

completely different pants. these are mainline rick owens trousers/chinos.  waxed detroits are jeans usually from drkshdw and fit 2 or 3 sizes too small.

Thanks for the input. Yes, I am looking at mainline RO trousers in wool, and another in cotton blend. Slim fitting and they have full size run 48 to 52.
Is a 48 usually a 34" waist?

KG: No RO dunks, but looking for black trousers to wear with Guidi etc. redface.gif

edit:
ExAngel, I think XL would be too big...large would probably work. I like a 11" rise and 12.5" thigh. Essentially roomy seat but tapered bottom or 19cm
