Petrov jacket from Yoox
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
So, this came yesterday, and... it didn't work out. It's quite cropped and tapers quite a bit between the chest and waist, so it just looked weird on my tall frame. Will be returning it this week. You should jump on it if you're a true 46 (I'm between 46 and 48, and though it fit great in the chest, it's clearly meant for someone with a drop larger than mine)
Alright, had some packages come in recently. Will post WAYWT at some point.
LUC Farmer's Jacket (AW10 Version): Holy shit this thing is incredible. Soft, cozy, tweedy fabric. Absolutely blew my mind when I picked it up out of the box. Eck may like the AW11 fabric better, but this one satisfied exactly what I was going for. It's all the parts of Harnden that I like, without any of the things that seriously irritated me about Harnden. It's also super wearable in Seattle, which makes me a very very happy camper.
Guidi 995's in Kangaroo: These are the kind of boots I want to go stomping around bars in, and then go to Italy with. They're beautiful, the leather is incredibly soft and just stretchy enough to conform to my feet without being ridiculous, and it's thin enough my feet don't swelter (no actually, often a serious problem). Still debating whether to get a vibram put on, I had it done to my Augusta's and still regret tarnishing that sole, but leather soles make me nervous...
Schneider Babylon Trousers: Schneider is wonderful. I've had some problems wth his construction in the past, but the fabrics always bring me back, even after I vow to not. Incredibly slim (I couldn't zip up the 3 as a normal 46), but the 4 is perfect. Not sure if I'll hem them or not, but either way, they're wonderful.
Fuck yes. Done kopping for a long while though....
I bet it would look killer with some 484 slim fit khakis brah
