It seems like each Bless hoodcoat has had something like 8 owners.

people probably realize it's not that special once they receive it. don't get me wrong, i like it. i just think it's been hyped up a lot without justification. there's just not that much that distinguishes it.

Yes. Starts to flatten with the first wear.

That cloak piece is so good.

I should have added "(10)"

I think it's more of a sizing thing really. Slim shoulders and chest, blousy body and a weird unisex scheme makes it hard to nail it. Also it's long as fuck so if you're under 5'9" you might feel a little self conscious. And it's like 5+ pounds, pretty heavy for anywhere that's usually warmer

Wasn't underwhelmed with mine at all

OR it could be the fact that he had 2?

What exactly are you comparing it to?

I think it's pretty tacky but still... a cool piece I guess. I admire it in the same way that I admire some goth ninja stuff; a lot of it is dumb looking and lame BUT I won't argue that it doesn't look cool

I wasn't underwhelmed with the one I sold to chaos either, just needed a bigger size for my shoulders. I kept my canvas one since it fits perfectly, and it's amazing.

wasn't talking about this specific case really, just about the coat in general. i know people have had sizing issues and that he had two (...but if it's so nice, why not keep both (7)). i still don't see why people lust so hardcore over it, though. i feel like it all stems from that one fit pic that circles around. again, i like it, but i think its degree of hype is a bit undeserved.

I haven't found a hooded coat I like nearly as much as the Bless ones I've owned. It was a grail of mine for a very long time and when I got the white one I was pretty blown away by how nice the fit was and the details. It's the best minimal long, hooded coat while still being interesting. Still my favorite coat that I own, even more than the Schneider coats I've owned, and the only thing that comes close that I have liked is tog's balenciaga.

It's also a function of how difficult they are to get, so usually the only ones you see are ones that are being resold. Some of these coats are really damn old too

I think it's easy to dismiss hype when you haven't handled or worn the piece yourself. I pretty much felt the same way and said the same things about SNS starks until I finally got one and now I wear that thing a bunch

The HL Cutout trench snake had was far cooler and less over the top while maintaining the same vibe. Wicked mad I slept on the 44 that popped up on sufu ~ a year ago.
