Interesting. They sourced the same denim APC did for their black mij's that were released about 2 years ago. The John Elliott ones are washed and I don't think they'll fade much more than that... Well, at least if I'm going by how mine look after a year and a half. The APC's stretched, but not as much as their indigo raws or faux noirs typically do. Also, I'm not sure about the ones you have, but the APC's have some sort of coating on them, almost wax like that make them very stiff. The coating is really noticeable when you soak them.
