scar tank - sized up (L)
nimbus jawnz- went with a 29, fit reminds me of some combination of PS/weird guy/Dior, I could probably do with a 30 but the 29's right now have just enough room in the top block, wash/distressing looks good in person and back of knee honeycombs are appropriately placed for me

i want to hear more about the jeans, when you can. I think I've posted this before, but the rise on the PS has been feeling too low to me of late, and I really have no idea where to look. I should probably post this in the denim thread, but does anyone know where to get what's basically a petit standard with a higher rise? (like, an inch) I think Teger mentioned Dior a while ago, but trying to figure out and then pay for Dior jeans kind of scares me.

Might try the Pure Blue Japan 013. Seem to recall that was a mid-rise slim/taper fit.

Those are essentially the same price as diors

synthese, you could just get NS and taper them...

edit: two awesome purchases noob, drowned world is great. you must've read the atrocity exhibtion right? contains my favourite ballard piece, 'why i want to fuck ronald reagan'.

same here, most jeans just can't handle my ghetto booty, didn't really feel that much of a difference when I tried on a pair of 19cms.

Proxy would change that and they're a better quality jean. Fit I don't know, Diors are tough to beat there.

Get diors, you won't regret it

Yes! I found an old oversized edition by RE:search (I think they're called) in a used book store back in high school. That book is so crazy. Don't remember the Reagan bit, though; I'll have to go dig it out of my parent's attic.

I think you're the same size as me.  I went 32 (TTS) in mine but I was going for more of a slouchy fit, I'd say 32 or 31 in the washed kind (depending on what you're going for) and size down one for the raws?  I think the sizing tends to vary, though.  You might also want to look for a pair with a polyurethane blend.

I'm a 32 in the raws so you're probably a 30 or 31.

I'm a 32 in PS and went with 32 in raw MIJ Dior 19cms. So...

Synth - All things being equal... measure your fave pair of jeans across the waist. If it's 17", go with DH MIJ 31" for proper (read, not tight) Dior fit. Adjust sizing up or down accordingly.

Thanks for holding my hand, guys redface.gif

Teger, W+H look nice, too. the straight fit especially. Price is somewhat friendlier than Dior, also

edit: I'm assuming that means 31 in W+H as wll?

edit edit: Dang, just saw the Gravity Pope sale. Guess I'll take a gamble on a 31!
