Robertson Davies once wrote that the mark of someone who really loves to read is is that they don't just read "good" books. I'm not embarrassed by anything I read. Some of it is great. Some of it is absolute garbage (i.e. most science fiction, which is a lot about nerds doing cool things and having sex with sexy aliens), and some of it is current, cool, literature, and some of it is classics, novels, philosophy, whatever. These days, tbh, I read mostly tech and fashion news, but I still get paper copies of WWD.
