I´ve never read on a kindle or Ipad. I think, because I´m so much online reading articles and forums, I wouldn´t stand looking at a screen and reading. There´s nothing like flipping pages and holding the book while going through a story.

How do you know? I do miss page numbers, but the percentage bar is similar. 

It was just an expression. Don´t need to take it literally.

You just click on the footnote and get brought straight to it, it's one click to go back to exactly where you left off. Random access of known locations is something e-readers handily beat physical books for.
