Yes, this post fits in nicely after I posted about how I was fairly content with my wardrobe.

Nice. I've had those resting in my dream box since they first popped up. Waiting for more drops + a code + final pair in stock for the ultimate Styleforum buying experience.

not a fan of that denim 5-zip on the mannequin, maybe a fit could change my opinion

I decided I'd buy them if I got them under £300, and with a 10% off code (VALENTINE) it goes to £280 or something, so I figured why not.

Kingjulien (i think?) posted a fit with one, silhouette was really good, way better than I thought it would be. I'm really not a fan of denim jackets in a non-trucker style though.

Yeah that was me.  I like it but still have to shorten the sleeves which might be a bitch given the zippers.

Glad that worked out Reedo

what size did you get reedo? I'd love to find one of the canvas/non leather 5 zips, but it's such a pain to search for them on eBay/Y!/Rakuten with all of the H&MxMMM stuff everywhere.

I agree with mikey; post a fit so we can eviscerate/worship you

This is exactly what I had my eye on...but I was afraid to pull the trigger because I don't know Individual Sentiments' sizing. What size did you get?

Regarding shortening sleeves, you could try asking a tailor for a cut-job.
Basically means he will cut out the zipper and some of the fabric around it from the sleeve, then shorten the sleeve, and lastly sew the zipper-piece(with fabric still attached to it) on again.

At risk of sounding like I'm always bullying reedo, I'm bummed out that he got that.

It's another case of settling for a cheaper version of something that is not quite what he wanted.  A few weeks ago he mentioned wanting either a TOJ BBall or some Undercover leather.

Instead of one of those he got a reversible varsity and a denim 5-zip, which I'm sorry but will never be close to as cool as a proper leather version.

You can do better than this Reedo!!  I thought you were starting to get a clear idea of where you wanted to take your style but instead you have 2 pieces that aren't what you were actually lusting after.

I think he can just shorten the zipper, but I'm not sure.  I'm really wary of tailors.  The last time I had something altered (a blazer) the buttons were sewn straight into the lining uhoh.gif

How much do the leather 5 zips usually go for off B&S/Y! Japan etc ?
