Not really, its pretty toasty. Still not really sure when I´ll use it, but problably like a "cardigan" winter time.

Y'ssuit arrived a bit slim in the quads and chest maybe time to stop lifting again plain.gif
But it 's so amazing, the wool gabardine fabric is lovely and the stitching detail so delicate, there are at least 4 ways of wearing this thing ...

If I'm on a trip I despise the idea of lugging around an ostentatious display of camera equipment. Makes you look like either a clueless tourist, an equipment geek, or (if you're lucky) a professional photographer. And if it's the later, then some places might kick you out.

the NEX has a full APS-C sensor same size as most entry and mid level dslrs, the 7 will blow most out of the water. couple that with zeiss e mount lens (phatguido has or had that system) and it's unstoppable portability/quality ratio

I still wonder if I should have got the NEX-7 as it does appeal to me. But the factors against it were...

m43 has better selection of available lenses
Panasonic has better firmware design than Sony
GX1 has faster AF than NEX, especially in low light
NEX produces more noise under low light conditions than GX1

But the biggest factor is this: There appears to be nothing with equivalent performance to the Pana 20mm F1.7 lens on the NEX with a form factor that isn't crazy big. So ultimately as good as the NEX is, it cannot give me the same level of performance in a truly pocket-able camera.

NEX-7 with Zeiss 24mm F1.8 lens mounted. Is this the lens you're referring to? I would not call this combo pocket-able!

i didn't know you meant literally pocketable, though for me it's all the same, giant pockets can fit anything

Lifestyle snapshots aside, I wonder how many ppl employ a dslr exclusively for waywt curation. Not that that would ever get an honest reply.

I want, but every time I think about putting down for one I end up kopping clothes instead smile.gif

I didn't get one for the intention of using it exclusively for waywts but that's kinda how it ended up. shog[1].gif

It's only a canon rebel xs though, so not too expensive.
