I was talking more about the other stuff.  I don't care if a giant fur coat is good quality, you know? So I'd rather pay $50 for it since I'm only gonna wear it once in awhile.  It's a good opportunity to have fun with design without spending a fortune.

It's not like buying a $50 boot is the same as taking out a one year lease on a $500 boot. They didn't feel like they would break in very well or be very comfortable and they seemed like they would look cheaper as they aged. Also, they were 199 euros so I was judging them on that at the time. Obviously for under a hundred bucks you could do a lot worse.

Ha yea if H&M offered those boots at $50 at the same quality level, with no brand affiliation, and very likely still buy them (and wouldn't have to go through a proxy either...). At the right price, expendable clothing is a "forgivable sin," (lol) we can't all afford the best of every piece all the time, especially with alternatives.

youre a nice sibling - Closed never gets mentioned that often--ive never handled but i hear their pants are well made.

Just kopped a pair of CP black original rec at 50% off at Ssense----theres not many left around especially at 50% off

That's your personal experience though, I find them very comfortable, surprisingly so considering that, well, they are leather boots
