Go talk to a hairdresser and maybe just google image search haircuts for ideas.

It might take up to half a year to modify your hairstyle and for it to properly grow out.

Part of the reason I was considering shaving was because of the devoa model...

I've had shoulder length hair most of my life. I think it suits me, and I like it. If its bothering me I'll just put it in a top knot/manbun; lately I've had urges to cut it, but I'm scurrred

I agree it probably took me 4 years to find the right stylist and haircut, look for styles on models that have a similar face shape to you, also ask your stylist if they think it will look good on you.  My haircut is similar to yours but the sides are shorter my bangs are much longer and cut at an aggressive angle when seen from a profile view.   With the amount of money we spend on clothes I think you should consider spending at least $40 on haircut, usually better places will give you a beer or an espresso and give you free touch ups for the month(still tip though)
