Geller has no overarching aesthetic? Really?

The mac coats that W+H puts out are generally the one staple item that catches my attention every season. Great buy.

I like my J pants a lot, supremely well made with tons of great details, also I got them hemmed to remove the frayed thing at the end as I wear them in the context of cleaner less ninja aesthetic. Unlike toasty I think the J shape helps to compensate for my powerlifting/cycler/skiing/climbing/indoor soccer playing thighs

I didn't know that W+H Mac still had stock around (it was from last year's F/W). IMO, it is by far the best "winter mac" they've released.

I like my Zam J pants a lot (material still makes me go wtf, my gf loves it too haha), only thing is that I think they're double layered, and my rather long leg hair gets caught and pulled between the layers when I walk sometimes. Super awkward/kinda painful

 

I've also got big thighs from lifting and from that perspective, his J pants works great. There's not many jeans out there with a long inseam for stacking (>36) that has bigger thighs and a sharp taper. If you want J pants, there's even less (that I know of) that meets this criteria, while still being affordable.

 

Gettoasty, I guess the cut make your legs seem too big/lower body too heavy?

I tend to wear mine with a more relaxed, longer top and it looks good.

I have big thighs as well and had those same pants Reedo mentioned, linen j shaped trousers. They are comfortable on the thighs, roomy, but two things bothered me 1)Twisted inseam causing stacking/bunching in the hem and upper shin area (too affected IMO) and 2) the low rise of the pants. I could have perhaps altered the waist and thus pulled up the trousers to where I like my bottoms to sit comfortably but I decided against this. Due to the twisted inseam it also hugged my calves a bit.


From this photo and what I remember, the twisting is not balanced enough for me hence I prefer inseams that are "straight" and I can taper if necessary to create a bit of stacking. So, as much as I appreciate the aesthetic, I don't like that cut specifically. My other pair of ZB pants on the otherhand are nice and I love the texture and weight. 100% wool and though the inseam is twisted a bit when you look at the details it is not aggressively so.

I feel zamb definitely cuts for his build and the closer you are to that the happier you are with his stuff. If you have slim thighs it's definitely not the first place I'd look.

 

Construction is top notch, and can't argue against the pricepoint.

Def agree with urthwhyte. If the thighs measured around 10.5, I'd buy a lot more zamb

guys zam is... a tailor. he will probably adjust anything you want if you ask nicely.
