Some of the better Danish bands are Ulige Numre, Fallulah, and Oh Land. Avoid anything with Trentemoeller's name attached

I don't get this obsession with Scandinavian languages and music.  The languages sound awful.  It's basically German, but with all manner of slurs, and speech impediments, and drug and hallucinogen-induced speech impediments thrown in.
The music is for the most part the worst of the worst of Eurotrash...but there are some exceptions.

German is a beautiful language on the other hand.  There are rules.  You obey them.  No exceptions.  The end.  If you do so, you can build Audis and BMWs and never fall into debt.

Ruger Hauer is a cool Finnish hip-hop group. And Pariisin Kevät is one of my favorite bands atm.

You must be drunk, most scandinavian languages have nothing to do with german, I speak danish, swedish and Norwegian and I don't get german at all.

The reason why they are hard to understand/learn is that we have A LOT of silent letters, letters that change sounds depending on context and words that mean several things.

The most common example try saying "rød grød med fløde" also the word "have" in danish means garden, sea's and to have.


You need to read up on scandinavian music.
