Good purchase Noctone. I don't like much Zam B but dude knows how to cut pants, the pair I bought from artishard are among my favorite things to wear.

Yeah I'm not particularly keen on his tops and outerwear for the most part (razor coat this season with 100% cashmere outer and 100% silk lining looks kinda cool tho and probably feels like sex in coat form), but his pants are great. Forgot to mention I also got a pair of the soft j-shaped pants in the mail today along with the minimalist dna pants, just couldn't be arsed to take a pic. Kind of a small detail but I like that he puts little button closures on the front pockets of his pants, helps to maintain a clean profile if you're so inclined. The dust bags they come in are a nice touch, too.

are the zam pants pretty much stick leg only sorta deal, will my thunderous thighs just fail hard? biggrin.gif

If you look at Zam in his own clothes (I think that is him), he probably has similar body shape to you and wears the label well FWIW. Size accordingly. The specific linen trousers are cut very slim knee down and taper a lot especially with the j-shape/twist of the inseam.

TBH I think Notcone is wearing the ZB badly. ZB has a very unique style to his design and cut but the way it is worn in said photo does not make it any different than some black bottoms from 'XYZ'. You can't even see the twisted seam for all its glory. Though the hand and material is definitely something you appreciate more in person, I guess.

IMO, your instincts are correct.

I know, I know, rules are made to be broken and all that, but the extremely tapered pants just don't look good on guys who've done a few squats.

That's a result of the photo quality, the seam is quite noticeable in actuality.

And fwiw benesyed I think the linen pants are are an aberration in how slim they fit. Soft j-shaped pants I got are a lot roomier in the legs.

most zam pants have pretty roomy thighs. no clue why noctones look so rail thin. just tried on the same ones the other day and they bordered on baggy in places.

Probably sized down 2

They don't look good in that pic you posted Artishard... I thought about trying a pair for kicks though. I picked up one of his longsleeve shirts on a whim last season and it's pretty nice.

These are the cold dyed DNA jeans, no?

This is the fit pic zam posted on SZ, look pretty much the same as they do on me:
