Reedo, you have a super-defined jawline; I doubt anyone is going to mistake you for chubby, if that's your biggest fear.

Only good iteration of that jacket is the dark alpaca. I think you should hold off; from your posts it seems like you're settling only because of the price.

I actually really like the light grey too. Maybe I'll feel different when I get it, but the dark alpaca is impossibru to come across. Shit is mythic.

I like the interior plaid too, nice color scheme

I agree with GT - the light grey seems cheap compared to the darker colours available, though if you are getting it for a good price then fair enough.
Would pay retail for the anthracite but not for this colour.

That is really nice but I found that I could not wear SS jackets for the reason you state; the shape is wrong for me and makes me look a bit shapeless (or worse) in the middle due to the extra volume -- my loss, I wish it were not so.

Just wear it open and it shouldn't be a problem. It's been very rare that I've ever buttoned mine up.

Gray is nice. Might even take that off your hands if it doesn't work.

Exactly, it doesn't get so cold here that I need 4 layers anyways

RE: Alpaca Jacket talk, there was a size 3 of the Alpaca Jacket in Anthracite up on Rakuten that went for a crazy price, would have bought in a heartbeat if I didn't already have mine in a size IV (which is the best size for a 36-37 chest IMO)

 

Do you button up the knit part or just leave it flapping?

 

Sometimes it takes me like 6 months to figure out how to wear certain things, especially the more out-there pieces.

Usually just open, but sometimes buttoned up if it's chilly.

Severisth's moleskin one is good too. It's the only other non-anthracite one that I've liked, dunno why it's still there at that price.

After playing with it, would highly recommend after 4, but not a big upgrade from the S
