murakami wrote his first fiction in the late 70s...he's more of an 80's writer.... he wasn't well known in america until kafka on the shore....which is like 2000s... which is the reason why all the Y and Z generation hipsters are fawning over him

A while ago I posted a navy/beige varsity-jacket here

and here it is if you don't remember it (Click to show)

Now, I think I could throw on pretty much anything in my wardrobe and then put the jacket on top and it'd be ok.
But what I'd like to know are some suggestions to what else to match it with to make the look stellar, because sadly I can't figure it out myself laugh.gif

haha clever (10). the first was spot on and the second is just bringing up an author that has nothing to do with carver. closer to carver would be like denis johnson.

murakami is good. i liked norwegian wood, and then read some of his other books but they are all very similar. japanese authors that i like better (similar style):

kenzaburo oe
yasnuri kawabata
yukio mishima

all 3 are better, imo.

Mishima is great, esp with a glass of poison in your hand.

I actually acted as Yukio M during a "writer's club"-thing in school, was a lot of fun. I was seated next to Hitler though.

Yep, I did. Never got a clear answer though, he just mumbled on about Hugo Boss...

And they are finally releasing more colorway of the flyknit racers too, I really just wanted a black & white (or grey & white) pair for running.

BTW, Nike 21Mercer is taking phone orders on the Flyknit collection to those looking.

Goddamn am I happy about this. They look so sick for actual use. Been waiting for like a month to Kop. The trainer is supposed to be a little more substantial than the racer but I believe they are close to the Ashe msrp. 150.
