This attachment coat. It is pretty out there but is exactly in line with what I am trying to do so hopefully it works.

I can't find my camera charger so I haven't been fit pic ing but when it turns up I will. As for pursuing a similar aesthetic, I have this vintage-military thing with elements of workwear that I do all the time without really thinking too much about it and am at a point where I can grab anything out of the closet to do that. It's a little too nostalgic and, I don't know, clean? Even with the military influences. So I want to take what I do currently and shift it over a little darker, post-apocalyptic is what comes to mind when I think about it. But I don't want to go gothninja or full on SZ and end up wearing all black all the time and I want to focus on textures. Like this coat (denim) plus those brown cossack pants (moleskin) plus the NiCo combats (nubuck-ish texture) with a scarf works in my head as what I'm going for. But it might end up too cosplay in practice so I might just have to use an element here or there. EDIT: And fwiw I think it might have some parallels to what you do but when I see a lot of your fits I tend to think more "dune", ie otherworldly.

a larger aperture would allow us to see more than just your point of focus with the rest fading into oblivion, although it is fun to do for the sake of photography

KZO Arc Linen Jacket. Shoe Gypsy Tulsa has a medium left for really cheap ($125), if anyone cares.

So I just got the Ervell shirts from Gilt 10 min ago, I've never had a better fitting shirt OTR. Thankfully the "light blue" they listed on gilt was more of a grey / light blue than it was in pictures, and instead of poplin its actually a thick weave oxford. Coming from somebody whos sewing buttondowns from scratch right now, the quality on this thing is unreal, MOP buttons, single needle stitching, side gussets, everything is super well done and overall the quality is amazing for $60. FWIW, both the shirts I received are FW10 season and in a pretty heavy oxford cloth. If Ervell releases more regular collar shirts these can easily be my go to. Pics will come when I wash these bad boys.

UPS delivers late in your neck of the woods,
unless you're in CA or somewhere out there

yeah, I got mine the other day. Despite gilt listing both as light blue broadcloth.... the xs I got was like the shirt you got while the S was a blue broadcloth

He means this literally; I just acquired 51% of the equity in J.Crew's parent company and jet showed me the receipt for his face cream - it cost more. I was as surprised as anyone.
