Margiela has been garbage since s/s 2010 both quality and design.

Margiela quality really isn't any different. They are still produced under staff international S.p.A. The only difference is the essence of margiela, the difficult tailoring and idea of anti-fashion is slowly fading away, so the difficulty and the level of work that goes into their stuff is much less. Its becoming far too literal now. Take fw11, the combination knits aren't shit compared to his other knits in the past. Theyre shifting focus to the highlights such as the sneakers, sidezip boots, tabi shoes, leather elbow basic knits, and the trucker cardigans, etc. The stuff that actually makes the fashion house money. Its more of a business now than ever before, but I feel the quality is roughly the same.

Really hope they fit this time.

disagree there. The side-zips are great, but they see the demand and have priced accordingly. They aren't a value buy, but the design is there. I fucking LOVED my side-zips and wish they fit perfectly.

the problem is, half the dudes don't know how to wear their side-zips. They wear the, like regular old fucking boots. My vision was muchhhh different.

Quality is still shitty though and I do own three pairs of MMM boots (and four pairs Of sneakers) so it's not like I don't like the design. I style them like boots, meaning they go under the hem of black jeans. Nothing crazy really.

yeah it isn't in the same quality plateau as others in the (current) price range, but at a 500$ purchase they were good. Plus, jet was just dropping that the design is garbage, which to be honest, is not a fair assessment.

I'm with Jet in that if I were to drop 1+k on boots it'd be vass or guidi, cd, MA+ etc. but I got on the MMMs before they got huge and I was not upset at the price paid

I have five pairs of sneaks and five pairs of MMM boots so I'm in the same boat as you Fuuma, I like the design, but the price is getting crazy for the quality now.

I would actually say that the sneaks are better for the price then the boots.

I guess if you buy on Porter level discounts it wouldnt be too bad, but who is going to buy at retail? I hope no one here.
