they have 2 left actually. different leather. one is 2090 another one is more expensive I think, something like 2200? Which one did you get?

Well they have one left cause I picked up the other smile.gif

I got the slightly more pebbly leather (and slightly darker I guess). I think it was the slightly pricier one.

You guys so lucky, they have some nice stuff for size 48 left, I was there another day and a guy picked up a givenchy leather in my size. Currently store is at 55% off. They will have a final markdown, but I don't know when.

I'm just visiting my parents in Dallas. Wish I had known about this store sooner, I probably would've picked up a bunch of good deals over the last couple years. They seem to have a ton of sz 46-48 stuff left, probably because everyone in Texas is huge or wear oversized clothing.

It simply jumps at you if you're actually interested in such things. A few yrs ago Lanvin fabric costs were, on average, THREE TIMES the cost of a similar garment made for YSL. Out of the big french houses offering menswear collections I'd say the only one which has actually become better is, to my great surprise, Dior Homme. BTW none of these brands (menswear) are big businesses; they don't have that much staff and a relatively low volume.
Oh and some of the leathers used on recent shoe offerings have been so cheap as to be Aldo level (not all of the recent ones but a few), it's just quite easy to spot.

They're not? I always thought that the designers are rich...

Tough to say. I don't really know my "true" shoe size, but I find that 41 is usually the best. These are 41 too, so I guess they fit pretty TTS, though I'm contemplating putting in an insole, will have to see.

Almost all designer brands are very, very expensive in japan.

black label for mens, blue label for womens

yes, their designs are more wearable for the younger crowd, excluding the prorsum line

it's slightly cheaper. which is pretty much still rather expensive. but i like some of the designs very much.
