Buzz Rickson makes some nice ones, but the measurements I've seen for them are typically not very slim-- e.g. wjk size L appears to be equivalent to a Buzz size S.

wjk is top notch quality (far better than say Julius or DBSS) and M65 style jackets is a signature item for them. If you can fit into their stuff, they should be on your short list.

I agree, very old man like.

Nothing, provided you're ok with the stereotyped image it presents to others: stale, out of date, not adaptable, closed minded, in decline, unattractive.

It's due to the wide, relaxed cut combined with a non-denim look. In the pictures, the light gray wash pattern almost looks more like wool trousers than denim. And old men often wear baggy ill fitting gray trousers. And the shoes are from LL Bean, which is easy proven to be worn mostly by old men: http://www.quantcast.com/llbean.com#demographics If you like the old man look, then fine. Just don't claim it's not somewhat old man like. Even Arizor admitted he liked his pants because they have a vintage old man vibe.

It's a relaxed cut but it's certainly not ill fitting. It looks like a nice fit all the way down.

I know lots more young guys that wear relaxed cuts that don't fit.

Anyway, i like them, whether they're old man or not.

Some people are in such a hurry to declare slim "over" and to waddle back to oversized, unflattering, baggy fits. Makes no sense to me.

You guys are lame as hell. You have to be good looking, young, and have swagger to pull it off, but there's something very charming about this "old man" look you guys are railing against...also, I don't think slim is over at all, most of my **** fits pretty slim but I do like playing with different silhouettes and volume and proportion...SF-approved slim fit every day is boring as **** and is close to being played, to use a term I absolutely loathe. Could never get used to the idea of a uniform like some posters do, I just need more variety, get bored quickly, kinda defeats the purpose of being "fresh" etc.
