What model is that? Mine doesn't have any branding but I think it's the same otherwise (buckles are different as well).

they're actually 2970s resoled with the 2268 sole from the redwing repair center.

Are they brand new and made in USA? My new 2268s were pretty stiff compared to those. Anyways, looks pretty good. 2268 sole is what makes the boot what it is if you ask me. Just wish mine didn't fuck up my feet so much. Really love them other than that though.

Chrono that striped shirt is awesome. I really want something similar but all the fast fashion stuff fits like shit and I can't afford anything decent. Perfect one would be on of those lightweight striped knits from Ann D.

Actually not quite a label I'm fired up for. Their "Urban Classics" oxfords are really nice, though...

Some infos on the label:

Retailer in Canada/Vancouver:

CAD$495 is a joke, though. That's CAD$175 (!) more than here in Germany... =/

looks nice really

Why are yours so hard on your feet? Is it part of the breaking in process? Can you fit insoles in there?

They're not the most comfortable on the bottom but that's not the problem. On these kind of boots that don't have laces, they intentionally make the vamp fit extremely tight so that you can break it in and have it fit tight, but fit and not be loose while walking. My right foot is mostly ok but my left foot ended up getting a 5 month long inflammation on top from wearing them every day. No instant fixes from doctors either so I'm thinking of taking them to a good cobbler and stretching the vamp a little bit more if possible because I love these boots and don't want to give them up.

Breaking them in is fucking hell, really suggest the water method to make it be only a few days of extreme pain instead of a week or two.

Yea, i think you'd like this one if you can find it somewhere. The body is like 60%linen 40% wool and the arms are like 20%cashmere80%cotton or something like that. Sounds weird but there isn't a visible difference and i can't feel that big a difference but strange nonetheless. The neck is a little low but people will just have to deal with my chest hair. I sized up like 1-2 on it (it's a L) but fits awesome. I like the stripes slowly getting wider. Go find one so we can be twinsies

That TH shirt is great. Do you know what season it's from? One word of caution: do not under any circumstance google image search Tim Hamilton with SafeSearch off.
